The cold draw was clean cedar with cocoa behind it and a soft sweetness - poised rather than punchy, exactly what a corona should promise.

The opening is composed and refined - toasted cedar leads, cocoa sits just underneath, and a gentle sweet spice threads through without any sharp edges. The 46 ring is slim enough to keep the wrapper present but wide enough to carry a little more filler than the Number 4, so the profile reads balanced from the start rather than wrapper-driven. It's squarely medium. My draw was easy and metered, giving a slender ribbon of smoke, and the burn opened evenly after the first half inch, settling into the steady, unhurried pace this format rewards.

The middle is where the Corona shows its poise. Cedar and cocoa hold the centre in fine balance, a light roasted coffee builds, and the sweetness turns gently toward brown sugar against the toast - the same core as the robusto but delivered in a slimmer, more graceful line. The length keeps the smoke cool, and the notes stay clean and legible across a leisurely fifty-five minutes. The ash stacked in a clean pale cylinder to a good inch before I set it down, and the burn line stayed crisp without a single correction. This is elegance over power.

The final stretch warms the coffee and cedar toward the nub, the sweetness holding steady and a faint earthiness settling underneath as the slim ring gathers heat gently. My verdict: the Corona is the graceful, balanced Serie O - it keeps the robusto's cocoa-and-cedar core but delivers it in a slimmer, longer, more refined shape that stays cool and composed. The honest caveat is that it doesn't hit as hard or as thick as the wider sizes, so power-chasers will pass, but for a smoker who wants classic corona elegance in a medium blend it's beautifully judged.
