History
Oliva traces its tobacco-growing roots back generations to Cuba before the family established its cigar company in Nicaragua. Long one of the largest growers of Cuban-seed tobacco in Nicaragua, Oliva built a reputation for high quality at accessible prices.
Based in Estelí, the brand is best known for its full-bodied Serie V and the refined Serie V Melanio, which earned wide acclaim. Oliva was acquired by J. Cortès in 2016 but continues to operate from Nicaragua.
