About CigarDesk

CigarDesk is an independent publication about cigars — what to smoke, how to smoke it well, and why it matters.

We cover three things and try to do them properly: honest reviews, plain-spoken guides, and a structured database of brands, lines, and vitolas. No hype, no affiliate-driven scoring, no filler.

What we publish

• Reviews. First-hand tasting notes with a consistent scoring method. When we score a cigar, we tell you how we got there.
• Guides. Evergreen, people-first explainers — from lighting and cutting to storage, origins, and pairings.
• The database. A reference of brands, lines, and cigars you can actually navigate.
• Ash & Stories. A community space where readers share the moments behind the smoke.

How we stay independent
