Same 2008 blend, but the cedar sleeve adds a marker no other size in the line has. Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper underneath, Nicaraguan guts, the family pigtail cap. Slide off the cedar and the wrapper is oily and rosado-dark. My cold draw pulled cocoa laced with sweet cedar from the sleeve. This is the flagship with an extra layer of cedar character.

It opens full with the cedar note amplified - the Spanish cedar sleeve leaves its aromatic mark, so the flagship pepper and cocoa arrive wrapped in a sweet, woody cedar edge cleaner than any other size. The slim 46 ring is the narrowest in the line, concentrating the wrapper for an elegant, cedary start. The pigtail clipped clean, draw excellent through the slender body, burn straight. My verdict: the Cedros Eminentes is the flagship My Father with an extra layer of cedar - the aromatic, woody size of the line. Honest notes: it's still full, the slim 46 ring warms if you rush, and the cedar sleeve is a peel-off you shouldn't smoke through. But for the flagship blend with the most cedar character, this is a distinctive, elegant size.
