The final third stays gentle and nutty, the caramel deepening slightly, the cedar holding to the end across about seventy-five minutes. It never pushed past medium or turned sharp, which is exactly what this cigar is built to do. My verdict: the Hemingway Classic is a benchmark Cameroon smoke and one of the most refined perfectos in its price range. The honest caveat is that it can read too mild and short on drama for someone wanting complexity, and the fiddly closed-foot start won't be everyone's idea of relaxing.
