About the 1926 Serie line
Named for Padrón founder José O. Padrón's birth year, the 1926 Serie is the fuller, richer sibling of the 1964 line. It premiered in 2002 to mark José O. Padrón's 75th birthday, using even older Nicaraguan tobacco and a slightly heavier blend.
Box-pressed like the rest of the anniversary range, the 1926 delivers deep notes of dark chocolate, espresso and dried fruit with a full body that stays polished rather than harsh. It sits at the top of Padrón's regular production.
