Protocol is the flagship line from Cubariqueno Cigar Company, founded by Bill Ferione, Juan Cancel and Kevin Kolakowski. The brand is built around a law-enforcement theme, with releases named after famous figures and concepts from crime and justice. Cigars are blended in collaboration with respected Nicaraguan factories such as La Aurora and Erik Espinosa's La Zona.

The original Protocol blend and cornerstone of the brand, a medium-bodied Nicaraguan cigar under an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Notes of cedar, coffee, sweet spice and leather define the profile.

Protocol Eliot Ness

Named after the famed Prohibition-era agent, this blend uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos. It is medium-bodied with notes of sweet cedar, coffee and baking spice.

Named for the founder of modern policing, this fuller Nicaraguan blend uses a dark San Andres Mexican Maduro wrapper. It delivers rich notes of dark chocolate, espresso and pepper.

Named for the Greek goddess of justice, Themis is a balanced Nicaraguan blend under an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. It shows notes of cedar, cocoa, nuts and a touch of sweetness.
