About the Línea Clásica line
Montecristo is the most famous name in Cuban cigars, founded in 1935 and named after the Alexandre Dumas novel that was read aloud to workers in the rolling galleries. The Línea Clásica is its heart, spanning the numbered No. 1 through No. 5 plus the thicker Edmundo family.
Its crown jewel is the Montecristo No. 2, a piramide widely regarded as the finest torpedo in the world. A Cuban puro of medium-full body, the line is known for a tangy, cocoa-and-coffee profile with a signature Montecristo "twang" that has made it the benchmark Havana for generations.
