About the Ligero line

The Ligero series, sometimes called the Ligero Cabinet, is one of La Flor Dominicana's signature powerhouse blends, crafted at Litto Gomez's La Canela factory in the Dominican Republic. Named for its heavy use of ligero, the strongest, most flavorful leaf from the top of the plant, the line is built around an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over Dominican binder and filler tobaccos grown on Gomez's own farm. The result is a rich, spicy and intensely full-bodied smoke with notes of pepper, leather and earth. The numbered vitolas (L-500 and others) and the chisel-tip pressed shape are hallmarks of the range.
