About the Añejo line

The Arturo Fuente Añejo was born after Hurricane Georges disrupted Fuente's Cameroon supply, prompting Carlos Fuente to marry rare aged Dominican fillers with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper matured in Cognac barrels. Released only seasonally around the holidays, it quickly became one of the hardest cigars to find and most coveted in the Fuente lineup. The figurado No. 77 Shark, with its distinctive box-pressed-to-tapered shape, is the line's icon. Rich, full-bodied, and layered with dark cocoa, espresso, and sweet spice, the Añejo is prized by collectors and celebrated for its depth and aging potential.
